Cam Douglas MS' latest review of the 2022 vintage leaves nothing to be desired. His visual and gustatory notes make us wish we could bottle them. Oh wait… we already did!
Both, Magna Praemia and Mystae received an impressive score of 96 points and boasting 'a dark purple core'. Plenty of dark berry fruits were prominent in both wines with Magna Praemia also displaying 'vanilla and nut' and Mystae showing more savoury flavours of 'sweet bell-pepper' with 'oak and earthy qualities' too. 'Tannins are in abundance' for both wines and will benefit from several more years in the cellar.
The Destinae was awarded 94 points with 'A deep core of opaque purple with a ruby rim and plenty of stained tears'. As with previous Destinae vintages, Douglas felt that the Destinae was definitely approachable now and would also develop further over the next 4 to 15 years.
